HIGHLIGHTS
DIDN’T KNOW WHAT HE WANTED TO DO IN LIFE BY THE AGE OF 24.
At the age of 24 he decided to become an actor. However he had poor diction and he would not like exercising it, so as a second thought he turned towards film directing. But then again he did not share too many in common with the potential colleagues in Film Directing Section that year. Instead he knew a few concurrents in Film Cinematography Section and some “had long hair, listened to similar music and seemed like ‘trustworthy guys with appetite for life’”. So he decided to give it a try for Film and TV Cinematography Faculty. He was accepted and this is how his unsuspected talent came to light.
THE FIRST RESULTS: 3 OUT OF A TOTAL OF 5.
In 2001 the Romanian film industry was blooming and Cristian was intensely producing music videos for artists at that time. 3 out of 5 music videos Nominees at Romanian Industry Music Awards in 2001 were Cristian’s work and 1 of the 3 Won the Best Music Video of the Year (mentioned at Awards and Nominees section).
HE IS BEST KNOWN FOR MUSIC VIDEOS AND ADVERTISING.
Cristian worked with many Romanian artists in the music industry. He also collaborated with popular brands, Romanian and international as well.
DOING THE RIGHT THING
In 2001 Cristian was a jury member at the 1st edition of CRONOGRAF an International Documentary Film Festival in The Republic of Moldavia. He played a very important role in judging the finalist films, contributing to the objectivity and equidistance of the jury.

Short film shot in Chisinau, now in post production. Along with Igor Cobileanski. Despite the fact that they are old friends and after several collaborations in advertising and music videos, the two are on the first film together.
The 4th short film. With English casting: Emily Hamilton and Tristan Gemmill. Filmed in Romania.
Starting another project, the second feature film, with international casting. Filmed in Transylvania, Romania. The movie is now in postproduction.
Documentary film about the life of Queen Mary of Romania, filmed in Romania, Malta and Great Britain.
First feature film, shot entirely on DSLR. Excellent reviews and numerous festivals and film competitions.
A period full of advertising and video projects follows. In the meantime his life if fulfilled by the birth of his son, and he becomes totally dedicated to his education.
